17.05.2014 · DNS device access is enabled, even though I'm not using the XG for DNS anyway, and I have a policy to allow full access from the VPN Zone and L2TP IP range. I can ping the DNS servers and access http and file servers across the VPN no problem so I know the connection and policy is working, just no DNS.

Oct 03, 2018 · When I connect to my VPN, I can no longer connect to my RDWEB server. I am able to get it to work by adding my DNS server as primary, and 8.8.8.8 as my secondary. This is a temp work around. (If i disconnect from my VPN, all works.) Another issue I have noticed, as I unchecked "Use default gateway on remote network" for the VPN.

Dec 03, 2014 · For some reason, I can ping the DC by IP and FDQN, but not by hostname. The Meraki uses the built in L2TP VPN on OSX and Windows. Its a standard run of the mill L2TP VPN configuration. The Meraki hands out the DNS Server. I can see the Macbooks receive the correct DNS Server.
