I'm not a fan of systemd. I'll spare you the details - it's not a debate. I'm curious if there are any decently trafficked distros out there, most of the headaches of setting up a desktop system with working drivers etc. worked out, that's NOT using systemd or init scripts (seems there's gotta be a happy medium there).

09.01.2021 · Void Linux has been quite a breath of fresh air compared to distros that I've used in the past, such as Arch, Manjaro, and Ubuntu. On my (not very minimal) install, it idles at ~450 megabytes of ram, which is far better than Windows's 4 gigabytes. The package manager has more support for packages than a lot of people shape it up to have.
