Jun 08, 2013 · Just open your file browser, press Ctrl+H to show hidden files and folders, and go in to the .themes folder in your home folder. Go to the theme you want to edit. You'll find a cinnamon folder there which contains a file cinnamon.css. Open that file with Gedit (default double-click action).
