Mint Linux works well enough for me. I switched to it from Ubuntu ~3 years ago. I would personally recommend MX-16, which is a polished distro based on Debian stable. It's more user-friendly out of box compared to standard Debian, and comes with a bunch of handy tools that make life easier.

Once upon a time there was a distro called Damn Vulnerable Linux that was based on slackware and only available on i486 CPU's and was, well, damn vulnerable. Meant for cybersec students, it was stuffed to the tits with outdated software and bad configs that meant that, out of box, it was the most vulnerable OS on the market, and it looks like a pretty fun way to spend a long weekend.

I know they don't support Linux per the website, but has anyone successfully gotten this working on a Linux distro? I am getting really sick of windows and really want to swap operating systems but I don't want to loose my ability to work in this program.
