26.08.2021 · Nvidia-prime and the nvidia-prime-applet are Mint files which install automatically when you install Mint. There should be no need to install them. If your computer has an Nvidia GPU and you installed the Nvidia proprietary driver then you should be able to use the nvidia-prime-applet to switch between the different graphics modes.

Lutris ignoring nvidia prime-run I've been trying to setup my PC to use the igpu for display and a Nvidia card for heavy workloads, I'm using Nvidia's prime-run as it allows me to bind the card to a VM without restarting X and from what i can tell has better performance then bumblebee setups.

Like in the title. Lutris completely ignores that it's run with "prime-run" or that Enable NVIDIA Prime Render Offload option is toggled on in games settings. It just continues to run itself and all of the games using integrated GPU. In advanced options "Optimus Launcher" is toggled off for me with no option to choose otherwise.

To my surprise after launching Lutris and checking with "watch -n 1 nvidia-smi" it was still running on integrated GPU and so did Cyberpunk. I tried doing the same from terminal and it's the same problem. Lutris completely ignores that it's run with "prime-run" or that Enable NVIDIA Prime Render Offload option is toggled on in it's settings.
