Feb 06, 2016 · But this didn't really answer my question. As OpenVZ templates gave as some independence to PVE. But now PVE needs special "handcrafted" templates using DAB tool. I don't know if there is anything like standard LXC templates. Creating container in Ubuntu is done by installing packages from repository using template scripts.

Creation of the LXC container will take a lot of time, it will be stored here: /var/lib/lxc/ubuntu. Next stop the container: sudo lxc-stop -n ubuntu
