LXDE vs LXQt. installation. I’m working on doing a lightweight install, and I want to know whether LXDE or LXQt have lower performance requirements. I know the difference won’t be huge, but the system isn’t amazing in its performance and I’d like every .1% of CPU and every MB of RAM I can.

In LXDE, Alt+F2 brings up a field for you to type in commands. In LXQt, this is a proper application search, using .desktop-files, rendering many icons and so on and so forth. And in LXQt, this search is also reachable through the application-menu. Openbox is missing HiDPI support. Wayland support would also be neat.
