24.03.2021 · I updated my new M1 Mac Mini to 11.2.1 and the issues with my bluetooth keyboard and mouse persist. It's not dropping connections anymore but about every 3rd day or so when I wake the computer the keyboard will at first not respond, then the text races to catch up, adds characters I didn't type, and generally misbehaves.

Recently updated 3 M1 Minis at the same time and had red, blue and green lines between the 3 systems. They were all using different monitors a mix of 2 different 4K and a widescreen. You can mitigate the problems with keyboards and Mice/Trackpad by making sure that the charging cables are plugged into your M1 Mac before starting it up for the first time.

I'm on the latest MacOS always. It's not mac mini but thought I share since BT problems happen across the M1 lineup.
