28.02.2015 · How do I make duckduckgo my default search engine? It's either impossible or extremely difficult. The "related content" link that shows up at the right asking the same question is a dead end with no solution.
Jan 30, 2015 · Thanks, but not needed. Earlier reply worked when I used it properly. I am using Bing as my home page. If I search from Bing's search box I get Bing's results (surprise-surprise). If I search from the web address box, then I get DuckDuckGo results.

Set DuckDuckGo as the Default Search Engine. Click the ... icon at the top right. Click Settings. Scroll down and click View advanced settings. Under Search in the address bar with select Add New. Select DuckDuckGo and click Add as default !
DuckDuckGo is pretty easy to set as your default search destination, no matter which browser you prefer to use. Typically, you must change three options in your browser settings to set a non-Google search engine as your preferred destination.
