I've reset my HOSTS file, even though no MalwareBytes addresses were in there. I've tried an install/repair through the Support tool. I've made sure that Windows Firewall allows MalwareBytes through. I've had this issue for nigh on a month. Edit: And the support tool doesn't seem to actually be making logs.

Malwarebytes acts as it should when I am not connected to my VPN, but when I am connected I am unable to update my client/contact license server. I have been using the same VPN & Malwarebytes for years and have only encountered this issue within the last 1-2 months. Is split tunneling my best option going forward?

Apr 16, 2018 · Thus, when I followed the steps indicated and then additionally used the MBAM Support Tool to Clean uninstall and then download/reinstall MBAM, it was MBAM v3.4.5.2467 that was expunged and that the Tool itself also failed to download a new copy of - i.e., similar to the "Unable to contact license server" problem.
