22.12.2018 · As it's not a major rollback I think I should be okay. Though it won't let me rollback manjaro-release . Edit: It turns out, the system doesn't listen. If you go back to the kernel select screen, in my case the later one was still there and the earlier one was not. It appears that the only option is to install it directly or reinstall manjaro.

20.01.2021 · By default Manjaro uses the cutting edge kernel that is installed and running at the top of the list. I don't want to use kernel 5.8, instead I have installed kernel 5.4.67-1 which is the LTS kernel. To change that I booted into the Advanced options for Manjaro and choose kernel 5.4.67 and than removed kernel 5.8. using the Manjaro Setting MGR.
