TIL, latest version of manjaro gnome uses 40% less ram. Great work Devs! So I updated my system and checked htop as I randomly check and the usage was down to 540mb something from 860mb. Technically, Gnome 40 is released. It will take some time before the Arch maintainers have packaged and integrated it, and then the Manjaro devs will want to apply some sauce to it. I wouldn't expect Gnome 40 to be in Manjaro Stable for a couple of weeks at least.
