27.04.2019 · Whatever I choose I get a black screen after it. I tried lot of stuff while I was searching for a solution. In UEFI I set SATA to AHCI, turned off Secure Boot and Fast Boot. I tried edit the command from GRUB replacing quiet splash with nomodeset, nvidia.modeset=0 or nouveau.modeset=0. Nothing helped.

I installed the minimal version of Manjaro Gnome. After grub I get a black screen, clearly video output is not working. I am using a 5700XT card. The live usb boots fine. I can switch to tty2 but I cannot login with user:manjaro pw:manjaro. Installer does not give option to create user. I’m unsure what to do, help would be appreciated. Ty.
