I did not completely understand whether you have installed manjaro on a physical machine or a virtual machine on windows so it can be because of a driver for the former or a problem with vmware for the latter case. For the physical machine google with your specific touchpad/laptop model and see if any drivers are missing or is it a kernel problem.
