If you have an Nvidia GPU, just use Pop OS. Manjaro is honestly better, but it's also a little more complicated, and if you're not running a newer AMD GPU (and therefore need the newest packages), Pop OS is going to be fine. 3 level 1 AussieAnon365 · 1y Fedora 1 level 1 roachh2 · 1y
Manjaro or Pop!_OS. Find Me A Distro. Here's my dilemma. I've used Pop!_OS quite a lot, and feel fairly experienced with it. I really like the fact that it benefits from the Ubuntu support network, and has great software support for the same reason. However, I've recently heard about the AUR on Manjaro, and it sounds fantastic.

I've been using Pop OS for a year after using KDE Neon and Manjaro KDE and Ive grown to love it. It's works great with my GTX 1650 and if you happen to have Nvidia Optimus, it's even better as you can switch between using the integrated graphics to using the Nvidia GPU to …

I can't say it's better than manjaro cuz I never tried it, but I can say that Pop_OS is super user friendly. I ended up switching to Ubuntu 19 after a while of using Pop_OS. Pop OS vs Manjaro. Find Me A Distro. ... I've heard that Linux display drivers for Nvidia laptop gpus could give trouble, so I want to make sure I will be able to install my new OS without much issue, since I'll have to give up my already setup and working windows environment.
Also i prefer getting the latest kernel and although its easy with Pop its easier with Manjaro. Also my PopOs comparison is using the xanmod kernel on Pop and 5.7 on Manjaro. FPS are about equal. Ram usage seems a little higher in PopOS. I use nvidia. PopOs is easier out of the box as well. Hope that helps 8 level 2 _Flexinity Op · 1y
