Also the new linux-firmware package is added, plus a modified mhwd-db package including the modified amdgpu MHWDCONFIG. So I need some confirmation from some Topaz/Iceland GPU users, if we can enable the experimental support for these by default back in.

Jun 09, 2016 · now the installer -> mhwg defaults to AMDGPU and crashes because the experimental support dont work. now my wich is to remove the IDs for all GCN 1.1 cards/APUs from mhwd-amdgpu prober. so that all thos cards will use "radeon" (xf86-video-ati) again and the amdgpu kernel module will not be loaded.

But when opening the mhwd GUI tool it lists 3 possible drivers for my AMD gpu: video-linux, video-modesetting and video-vesa.
