I don't remember the server name tho. MMOs in my opinion today do not hold a candle to these classic games. I hope you find one you can enjoy and fix that itch.

I have played games in this genre for 10 years and I'm looking to try out private servers of any good game like WoW, GuildWars, Lineage, Aion etc.

It's been my favorite private server experience of all time. The population is huge, the players are generous with supporting the server financially, there's no pay-to-win cash shop, and the game runs flawlessly - I haven't run into a single bug in a hundred hours of playing there. If you think you'd be into superhero MMOs, I'd give it a shot!

ArcheAge, EQ2, Lineage 2 etc.), but I wasn't around the MMORPG scene heavily enough when these games came out, so I don't have any experience with them.

Absolute noob looking for blizz-like server with many players to play with. I'm totally new to WoW and tried out the free trial the past days. I don't have the money to pay Blizzard for a subscription, so for the time being I'm looking to play on a private server. I did read the stickied post, but there are way too many servers to choose from...
