18.11.2021 · Solution 1. I had the same problem after installing a Python 2.7 environment inside my Anaconda3 installation. I’m not sure which command I used to create the environment, but it actually didn’t install all the optional packages that are usually bundled with Anaconda (like matplotlib, numpy, …).
I will get ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'module1'. But import works fine if I execute the script outside a notebook: if I create test.py in the same directory and do the same as in the notebook the import would work properly. It will work inside the notebook if I use fully qualified name in __init__.py (import MyPackage.module1).

Finally run (change myvenv in code below to the name of your environment): ipykernel install --user --name myvenv --display-name "Python (myvenv)" Now restart the notebook and it should pick up the Python version on your virtual environment.
02.12.2021 · with pip install libraries will only install in your current environment and the latest version of the library sometimes latest libraries are not compatible with the other libraries so we have to take care of version compatibility.
Previously, since I had only done pip3 install PyPDF2, the import PyPDF2 command only worked if I ran py -3.5 on Windows or python3.5 on Linux, oddly enough, since apparently that was my "default Python3 version" which the more generic pip3 install PyPDF2 command must have installed the PyPDF2 module into.
Nov 13, 2021 · The -m basically says hey for the Python at python (the default python in your system path) use the site-packages folder associated with it (the place all Python packages get installed to) and use the thing called jupyterlab. Now just doing jupyter notebook will use whatever thing is called jupyter that exists in your path.
