As per your suggestion, I am going for WD MyCloud 3 TB. Seagate central seems to have bad reviews, and other brands such as Synology are pretty expensive.

I use 2 Dune players in different rooms and would like to be able to stream 2 1080p movies at a time. Which would you recommend? Synology 214+ or the WD My Cloud EX2? I don't care about backup. Thanks
