In case of negative imperative sentence ‘do not’ in the direct speech changes to ‘not to’ in indirect speech. We can also use ‘forbade/prohibited’ followed by ‘to’. In imperative sentence the reporting verb ‘said’, ‘said to’, ‘told’ changes to advised, command, requested, ordered, etc. depending on the mood of the sentence.
