Email settings If you want to receive emails for password recovery and notifications, you have to set up the email settings in Nextcloud. 25.10.2019 · In Nextcloud there is an option to configure a mail server (in the settings) to send mails (which is running fine). On the other hand there are update notifications as well as notifications if you log into the web interface (the bell on the upper right corner). Also system or server events can be tracked with a monitoring app.
Install and enable the notifications app Clone this app into the "apps" folder of your nextcloud instance. git clone https://github.com/nextcloud/notifications.git Enable the app (Log in as the admin into your nextcloud, go to "+ Apps" and search for the "notifications" app to enable it).
24.09.2016 · Nextcloud works very good, and easy to setup with no problems. My concern is the Email Notifications, which are in “Personal” settings called Send emails: hourly. Tried a couple of different ways to send email alerts immediately. The Test Email was very responsive. I received the test Email from Nextcloud within 1 minute, No problems.
