24.06.2020 · I think files-on-demand is actually a Windows 10 feature introduced in Windows 10 1809, Onedrive is just leveraging this feature and so can third-party software. Synology Drive is actually using this same feature to provide a similar functionality as Onedrive. I would love to see this appear in the Nextcloud client as well

If you look at the start page nextcloud.com you won’t see anywhere the word backup used.. If you get a bug on your nextcloud server, it could overwrite your files on your computer… and what do you do with that if you think nextcloud is my backup…

23.09.2018 · Sync Files on Demand and Delta Sync. Owncloud introduced two features (I don’t know, if they are really ready to use) which seem to be very interessting. The first feature is called “Virtual Sync”. The second feature is called “Delta Sync”.
