snap is automated you just select the snap nextcloud package and it's done just have to secure it. manual is you have to install all the dependencies manually in order to get nextcloud to work. snap option though will restrict you on custom changes such as increasing upload size limit, but that may change later on.

I got the Nextcloud Snap working with external storage. But I can't create a partition on my 500GB internal harddrive like I can in Windows.. it literally won't let me do anything to the harddrive.
