22.08.2014 · The R8000 works brilliantly with teh DD-WRT firmware. My only critisism is that the WPS funtion doesn't seem to work in the first release. Hopefully this will come in future. As a word of warning the hidemyass configuration script for open VPN doesn't work.

The same DNS problem is also happening to many R7*** and R6*** model routers. The problem has left many users with auto update in a bad spot.
