Nov 02, 2015 · After booting from USB to install Arch I cannot see the PCIe M.2 NVMe SSD drive. The drive is visible in BIOS screen (UEFI: PM951 NVMe SAMSUNG) and boot menu but not visible when I boot into Arch. Any suggestions on how I could proceed? Last edited by superfly0 (2015-11-03 01:07:07)

shows no nvme* device. On all other system I can access the nvme. The arch install iso, manjaro, ubuntu, etc. There. lspci -v.

The Linux NVMe driver is natively included in the kernel since version 3.3. NVMe devices should show up under /dev/nvme* .

The Linux NVMe driver is natively included in the kernel since version 3.3. NVMe devices should show up under /dev/nvme* . Extra userspace NVMe tools can be found in nvme-cli or nvme-cli-git AUR . Get a sense for how an Arch-based system works, and after a few weeks you can try installing Arch in a VM, and after you do that once or twice, you can try actually installing Arch.
