Log into the Office 365 portal – https://portal.office.com. Click Domains > then select the domain and click ‘Manage DNS’. Select the full “Points to Address”.
23.01.2019 · In our case, and it looks like yours as well, the connector exists to allow printers, scanners, software, and other devices to send email using an unauthenticated smtp connection to Office 365. What appears to me to be happening is that some of those devices are sending email without using TLS 1.2.

17.08.2015 · I need to get these copiers to be able to scan to e-mail but the SMTP server setup only allows me to setup non-ssl SMTP servers on port 25. Office 365 SMTP servers require TLS. I have *tried* (unsuccessfully of course or I wouldn't be writing this) to configure "direct send" but haven't been able to get that to work either.

I just wanted add there is an even easier method to getting non-TLS devices talking to Office 365. In my situation we had an invoice processing system which did not support TLS. The vendor's recommendation was to do what this article describes, which is to stand up a new SMTP relay server to act as an intermediary.
