Background: I have Nextcloud 22.2.3 set up with my desktop (Manjaro) as my server.My desktop and laptop (Pop!_OS) both have desktop clients for the same user account. Obviously not the ideal setup, but I am experimenting before paying for remote hosting.

08.05.2020 · I found the problem! there was a wrong settings for ONLYOFFICE. Document Editing Service address was wrong. it refers to http host without domain name.. When I changed it to my https URL with domain name it was fixed it.

You can try to use onlyoffice's official docker first to solve this problem. Orz. my solution is to use docker provided by onlyoffice/documentserver and Nextcloud 19/20 and later. I will reopen this issue later.
