Using OpenWrt 21.02.1, 5Ghz band encounters random disconnection issues for A6 V3. For the meantime, I disabled the 5Ghz radio and used the solid 2.4Ghz band. A6 V2 does not have those issues. This might be a chipset/driver problem since these two has different chipsets. 1.

27.06.2017 · Unbricking was done by forcing router into failsafe mode, SSH:in into it and uploading/flashing old firmware via NC from a PC. I suggest pulling this image from a list of supported images for Archer C7 v1.1, until issues have been solved. Otherwise, it might result in bricked equipment.

25.09.2015 · I started with the most recent FW on the Archer C7 V3 SW version 3.14.3 (release date 2015-05-08) I upgraded to OpenWrt v19.07.1, but I used the binary named the Archer C7 v2, because that's what listed as the binary for the v3. This causes the Model to be listed as “TP-Link Archer C7 v2” on the status page. Hopefully this is the only issue.
