Openwrt 21.02.0 (wrt3200acm) fails to connect to Eufy 25C robot vaccum, among other devices. Multiple devices of mine have been struggling to connect, via 2.4ghz, or even hardwired, to DNS via Openwrt. An xbox 360 with an old wireless adapter (a new one works fine, oddly), a eufy 25c vacuum, and an arcade machine via ethernet cable.

According to my ISP, I should use the "passthrough" mode to get IPv6 address. OpenWRT doesn't seem to provide directly such a connection ...

14.08.2020 · Internet via IPv4 does work, however getting IPv6 to work gives me problems. Before I flashes OpenWRT I used the Linksys WRT3200ACM router with stock-firmware and had simply setup IPv6 via "passthrough", which worked. However, the Linksys firmware did not allow me to specify a dedicated IPv6 DNS server (which should be my Pihole).

Nov 25, 2018 · As for me, I decided to set up some basic IPv6 in my LAN just to test things out, have an ability to test my own apps over IPv6, and, well, be prepared for the future, you know. My server is running on a shelf at home, behind an OpenWRT router. I get my IPv4 address at the WAN interface with DHCP.

I think IPv6 pass-through means there is a bridge between the WAN and the (single) LAN. If pass-through is needed for working IPv6 then I would say the ISP has done something wrong. With IPv6 the customer should get a routed prefix (/48, /52, /56, /60 or /64) for example using dhcpv6-pd, which doesn't require pass-through or bridging. 1 level 2
