27.05.2021 · Hi , someone know ho to configure the l2tp client on openwrt ( on the wan ) ? in practice i need to open a l2tp tunnel to my isp before "navigate" and after that i need to "route" all traffic on the tunnel, without that i can't obtain my public ip address and i can't go to internet. In the past i used an Asus Router that had this features. Thank Ivan

The new strongSwan documentation is currently missing an L2TP/IPsec page. Use this one as a reference for the xl2tpd part.

Most other settings are left by default, so auto channels, 20MHz 2.4g / 80MHz 5g (I have no control over either on my main router which is a DIR-882, but I could always flash it to OpenWRT as well to have better control over these settings), WPA2/3 mixed for the APs and WPA3 for the client connecting to my main router which is set to WPA2/3.
