The router is working fine as an access point.

I have also tried compiling from master and that does the same thing. As soon as I flashed 18.06.5 LuCI-App-UPnP worked straight away. My Router: WRT1900ACSv2.

Oct 12, 2014 · I had to re-install this package to ge LuCi working again: opkg update opkg install uhttpd-mod-tls. And then restart uhttpd: /etc/init.d/uhttpd restart. Voila! LuCi was available again at https://openwrt.lan :) As a bonus, LuCi has even had a bit of a makeover - it now looks more modern whilst retaining all of its previous functionality.

Nov 10, 2021 · Accessing LuCI web interface securely If you are doing admin things via LuCI web interface, there is a risk that a user of your OpenWrt network is sniffing your traffic. You are at risk of giving away your LuCI web credentials to attacker. There are some ways to mitigate this risk.

This may not be a critical issue for you since it is a LAN facing service, but the type of infrastructure information being exchanged combined with the fact that it is usually accessed over WiFi protocols might make you want to consider it – especially considering it is a 5 minute fix.
