That is what I figured, that it was interpolation delay aka IND. Just wasn't sure. It seems overwatch determines the interpolation delay dynamically then :). 2. Reply. Share. Report Save Follow. level 2 · 6 yr. ago. Chibi Soldier: 76. weird, usually it's …
May 27, 2018 · Hello Blizzard, every so often when I’m playing overwatch players freeze and then teleport. I keep trying to find out what my issue is and I finally realized it was my Interpolation delay. Whenever my game freezes my IND goes up to around 127. Please tell me how to fix this, because In some cases this happens often and ruins my gameplay. Blizzard please help!!!
I have over 200 hours on overwatch and suddenly in the past 4 days or so my interpolation delay has been spiking so badly and so consistently that this game is near unplayable. Before I never had a spike or any problem with it or at least nothing bad enough that I remember it. Nothing has changed with my internet or my connection.
Here's a pic of my netgraph, the orange chunks are showing when my latency is exceeding interpolation delay which is what must be leading to the stutter. My ping is usually around 80ms on this PC, but what is particularly weird is that I used to …
IND: Interpolation Delay To make sure other players' movements and actions appear smooth on your screen, there is a small buffer of time between when your client gets information from the server, and when it's shown to you in the game.
IND: Interpolation Delay To make sure other players' movements and actions appear smooth on your screen, there is a small buffer of time between when your client gets information from the server, and when it's shown to you in the game. This is normally around 50-60ms for normal games.
The interpolation delay is typically equal to 2 ticks, but can vary. For example, if a player is running in a straight line, and at the time of "Tick 1" they were at 0.5m, and at "Tick 2" they were at 1m, the interpolation feature, would make it appear on the client, as if they moved smoothly from 0.5m to 1m away from their starting location.

27.06.2019 · That’s like, as fluid and smooth as it gets lol. Personally I think 20 interpolation latency is high. I have mine on around 7. I play with around 40-55 which is pretty decent. I still prefer 20ms but yeah, can’t have everything. 60ms is …

IND: Interpolation Delay. The small buffer of time between when your client gets information from the server, and when it's shown to you in the game. This number is heavily dependant on the quality of your internet connection. Overwatch uses adaptive Interpolation Delay, aiming to keep the yellow latency line below the blue interpolation line.
