We already use Go in a few places, as mentioned, and the performance issues that exist (some corner cases) just haven't been bad enough to motivate anyone to fix them - no need to rewrite all of Nextcloud for that, in any case. With regards to surviving next to an Go-based ownCloud - I doubt it'll change anything.
