I plan to retain the pi-hole for now instead of using pfBlockerNG for DNS filtering. Recently I noticed PfSense send DNS requests to my PiHole for addresses such as <IP>.in-addr.apa . The IP portion of these IPs includes all sorts of regions, including ones that are GeoIP blocked. Does anyone know why PFSense is making these lookups?

What you need is something that will resolve your internal IP addresses - without having to edit hosts files on each and every device (while some don't even offer you that option).
