23.07.2010 · The fact of the matter is, Polish and Russian have many cognates and close cognates (just beware of the false cognates), and furthermore, the grammar of the two languages is similar enough that it should be able to at least help you learn Polish. (But again, I think Russian's a lot easier than Polish, and part of the reason is due to grammar.
