But every time I do a search for the IP address they give you the browser times out. I have tried pinging the address with the same result. I have also tried alternately disabling and enabling PXE and iSCSI on the two NICs.

Long story short, I (someone with zero Proxmox and server experience) successfully installed Proxmox on a cheap Dell R420 Poweredge I found off Ebay. The machine boots fine, has a connection, all that. However, when I attempt connecting to the address in chrome which should lead me to it's web interface, it doesn't work: (ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT)

I was not able to reach the Proxmox web interface, and the ssh request timed out, but I was able to ping the server, so I asked my flatmate to restart the server locally (pressing the power button). After that it stopped showing the message from before in the router, but I was still not able to connect to the web interface ans the lxcs' didn't show up.
