Purging everything immediately clears all resources from your CDN cache in all Cloudflare data centers. Each new request for a purged resource returns to your origin server to validate the resource. If Cloudflare cannot validate the resource, Cloudflare fetches the latest version from the origin server and replaces the cached version.

May 11, 2018 · I’m wondering, is it possible to flush on a domain name / zone entry with 1.1.1.1 DNS? This feature exists in both OpenDNS and Google’s Public DNS, and it occasionally comes real handy - for instance, while 1.1.1.1 still serves the malicious DNS entry for a site I use (this has been fixed about 2-3 hours ago), Google and OpenDNS have been flushed and resolve the domain correctly.
