There are expeditions you can do safely in the cities including scaling difficulty hard core versions, but those are less rewarding than open world. Fighting to control valuable areas is big part of this game and pve areas are no exception.

Looking for a game like Albion Online but without PvP. I really really loved the resource gathering aspect of albion online, but at a certain point you have to get involved into pvp to progress further. Since then I couldn't find any game that would scratch the same itch. I just wanna focus on gathering and skilling into that.
