Preparing data for Pytorch¶. One of main differences from Keras is preparing data. Pytorch requires special dataloaders. I'll write a class for it.

PyTorch provides two data primitives: torch.utils.data.DataLoader and torch.utils.data.Dataset that allow you to use pre-loaded datasets as well as your own data. Dataset stores the samples and their corresponding labels, and DataLoader wraps an iterable around the Dataset to enable easy access to the samples.

Creating a PyTorch Dataset and managing it with Dataloader keeps your data manageable and helps to simplify your machine learning pipeline.

When building from source, make sure that you have the same C++ compiler as the one used to build PyTorch. A simple way is to build PyTorch from source and use the same environment to build torchtext.
