Introduction This is a simple demo for performing semantic segmentation on the Kitti datasetusing Pytorch-Lightningand optimizing the neural network by monitoring and comparing runs with Weights & Biases. Pytorch-Lightning includes a logger for W&B that can be called simply with: from pytorch_lightning.loggers import WandbLogger
22.05.2020 · Sweeps currently work with pytorch-lightning in scripts (see this example) but not in jupyter environments. @vanpelt I think this is due to the fact that we added reinit=True in pytorch-lightning due to a distributed computing issue. Based on my understanding, this creates a new run in jupyter (and detach the sweep run).
14.08.2020 · I am training a variational autoencoder, using pytorch-lightning. My pytorch-lightning code works with a Weights and Biases logger. I am trying to do a parameter sweep using a W&B parameter sweep. The hyperparameter search …
from pytorch_lightning.loggers import WandbLogger wandb_logger = WandbLogger(project="MNIST") Pass the logger instance to the Trainer: trainer = Trainer(logger=wandb_logger) A new W&B run will be created when training starts if you have not created one manually before with wandb.init (). Log metrics.
With Sweeps, you can automate hyperparameter optimization and explore the space of possible models. Run wandb sweep sweep.yaml. Run wandb agent <sweep_id> where ...
16.08.2021 · Yes exactly - sinlge-node/multi-GPU run using sweeps and pytorch lightning. Your right, its currently not possible to have multiple gpus in colab unfortunetly, The issue is with pytorch lightning that it only logs on rank0. This is however a problem for multi-gpu training as the wandb.config is only available on rank0 as well.
