Aug 18, 2011 · Please give us more information, WHERE are you trying to get the display resolution? On XBMC just go to the SYSTEM / INFO menu. On the command line, get it from config.txt. Inside X you have the xdpyinfo command. What display device do you have connected to the Pi? A CRT TV will not show all the scan lines, some of them will be hidden.
