Recently, I had to set up a Russian IPTV service for my grandparents on a Roku device. First time that I realized that you can sideload apps through developer mode on to a Roku via wireless. Wondering if there's a list of other sideloadable channels, as opposed to private channels, out there somewhere, Google has not been friendly to my searches.

What you are talking about is putting your Roku into a developer mode then loading a developer channel onto it. It requires a PC on the same network, a tftp client and the source files for putting the app to your Roku device. It is true that you can only have one developer app at a time on any given Roku.

The idea is that developers can load their "test" apps onto an actual Roku device then test it before publishing it to the Roku channel store. I have developed several Roku channels and this is the standard procedure. I am not familiar with the MyVideoBuzz app but I am familiar with the process of "sideloading" an app onto a Roku device.
