12.11.2020 · We have upgraded SCCM console to 2002 one month ago. But suddenly we noticed that last 2-3 days any deployment status is not updating in sccm console -> monitoring tab. All the systems are in unknow status but when we are checking those system manually, found the installation is completed successfully. State message somehow is not updating.

This answer is not useful. Show activity on this post. Found a script that does fix the issue most of the time. This was buried in the SCCM 2012 unleashed book. Copy this to .vbs, run it on the client machine having issues. Then restart the sms service and re-run your cycle (software update, etc). That should force it to recheck it's check ...

I used Configuration manager on the Windows 7 laptop to help the PC creport back to SCCM but that did not help. We are using SCCM 2012 R2 with all the latest updates. WIn 7 PC also has all the latest MS updates.

20.05.2020 · The summarization is scheduled (At least that's what it tells me when I try and run it manually) and the date and time is updating. I've checked SCCM for errors in the System Status area and did find one this morning but I've fixed that now and no errors are being shown. However I'm still seeing the first 'Update' of the status of the deployment.

I haven't been able to figure out how to make all the clients give a non unknown status. As far as I can see all the clients are communicating with the SCCM server.
