I know people who have used Slackware for decades and love its stability. I know people who have used Gentoo and love it. Slackware's been a super influential, dependable distro. But Gentoo is the basis for projects like Chrome OS. This one is tough... I'm voting for Slackware. I'm definitely going to run 15 when the full release is out.
