$\begingroup$ @CoderGuy123 What you did is not a simulation, you just use the result of the package and compare it with your formula. The reason why your formula works approximatly for r=0.3 is that around r=0 the difference between $\sqrt{1-r^2}$ and $1-r^2$ is not so visible.
