If I create a file as a LDAP user on a NFS mount it gets created with 777 permissions, and if I do it as root it gets created with 000 perms. "Default UNIX permissions" box is checked in the NFS config dialog.

I can change the the permissions from the client using chmod (only using sudo even though I'm the owner), but for some reason the permissions change back to 777 automatically if a different file or directory is created.
