Aug 02, 2020 · I hope Synology stays in the router game, we get security updates and applications that are constantly improving - the security updates themselves is worth the price of admission. I have had other router (e.g. Asus, Netgear, Belkin) that never get security updates let alone interface/application updates.

As mentioned, I have a current Wi-Fi router that is working, just getting old (Wi-Fi 4 to keep with the new naming, 802.11n for everyone else) and not supported anymore (Apple Airport Extreme). Just time for replacement but I can wait.
