I do see an option to enable beta releases in DSM's package center while it looks like the option is always enabled on SRM but I see no equivalent for system updates on either systems. Should I expect the DSM 2.0 beta update to eventually be available here or should I enroll in a beta program somewhere? Thanks

18.07.2019 · Not seeing evidence of them being dropped, but SRM 2.0 was shown in October 2018 Synology events, with VLAN's, Comprehensive Network dashboard network monitor and Layer 7 firewall according to the presentations, and we still have nothing like that. Its like DSM 7.0, thats way overdue.

They spoke of SRM 2.0 with VLAN support many many moons ago but nothing since... only bug fixes and security updates for SRM1.x.

VLAN support is supposed to be in 2.0, but I don’t see a Synology source that actually says that for sure either, so to answer your question: There isn’t a date, and it’s not clear that it will even provide the function you’re after.
