If noone died, either your DPS were low enough spec, you guys got lucky or your healer did a lot of work. Consider a Caitiff Shield.

Si ce one week I tried to learn to tank in HCE. Atm I can manage to tank up to 13-14. But after that I have some trouble with my pulls. I take too much damage while it setup my pull. Nonetheless, the standard tank build is 1h hammer (lots of stun) with a sarco, soldier helmet, guardian armor, guardian boots, and a martlock cape. Make sure your healer is rocking the divine. On higher maps the tanks run Caitiff or Facebreaker, Stun/Aggro are more important.
