I have a Samsung Q70T in the living room, and the TCL, imho, has a cleaner and more color accurate picture. TCL also has an app you can download to calibrate your tv just from your phone. Overall great tv, I love it

The tcl is nice but the 120hz is a feature that you should consider and the tcl tends to have panel issues out of the box. Roku is okay but the tizen system is a lot nicer in my opinion. Also Samsung support vrr if your into that.

TCL 6 all day long. It’s FALD and supports Dolby Vision in addition to HDR10, the Q6 is edge lit and lacks DV. The Sony 900F is also worth considering, it’s FALD (though not as many zones as the TCL), supports HDR10 and DV, and Sony has superior image processing to TCL. Here's a good review of the TCL.

I would go with the TCL. Both seem lower tier tvs. Most of the time, tvs that cost more mean better features and better screens. What I would do in your shoes is wait until february when tvs start to heavily dip in price due to the superbowl and newer models coming out and get an OLED TV or a better deal for a better tv.
